“From the Corralitos area of the Santa Cruz Mountains, the 2022 Pinot Noir Las Nietas Vineyard is light in style and approach, with earthy mushroom, black tea, and forest notes predominant. Acid-driven and moderately complex, it is floral and savory with only a hint of cherry fruit. It should drink well now through 2028.” 
Winemaker Notes: 

The expression of this Pinot Noir is very much “Burgundian”, though we usually hesitate to use that term for vineyards not in Burgundy. Like with a Burgundy, the rather light color doesn’t prepare you for the deep and complex flavors, savory nuances and cellar-worthiness of the wine.”
