Medium to full-bodied, dense and concentrated, it’s perfectly balanced with a layered mid-palate framed by velvety tannins, concluding with a long, saline finish. It will take some time for this powerful Châteauneuf-du-Pape to hit its strike.”

“The 2022 Châteauneuf Du Pape Réserve checks in as 80% Grenache, 10% Syrah, and 10% Mourvèdre. It has a beautiful nose of ripe red and black fruits, Provençal garrigue, leather, and spice that opens up nicely with time in the glass. This charming, medium-bodied, supple, elegant wine has ripe, soft tannins, a rounded, easygoing texture, and outstanding length. It’s a touch more serious and lengthy compared to the Les Olivets, but both will offer loads of pleasure over the coming decade.”
