“Brought up in 18% new barrels, the 2022 Sauvignon Blanc Gamble Vineyard is all variety sourced from the cooler Yountville appellation. It’s a racy, juicy, citrus, and grapefruit-driven effort offering medium-bodied richness, bright acidity, terrific overall balance, and a great finish. While it was brought up all in wood (although mostly used), it still plays in the fresher, juicy, vibrant end of the spectrum. It should have 2-3 years of longevity, but I’d drink bottles in their fresh and exuberant youth.”
