“The 2022 Chorey-les-Beaune Village is matured 20% new oak for the first year and then racked into used barrels.  The pure bouquet has more fruit intensity than the Bourgogne Rouge – raspberry and wild strawberry.  The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins and fine acidity, quite classic in style towards the finish.  One of Rouget’s more elegant cuvees this vintage.”
